When Coffee and Style Collide (Music Wizard Cafe X Oneechan Fashion Collection)

I'm a person with very simple joys, I can sit in a cafe for hours while sipping coffee or tea or milk tea (milk tea most of the time lol) and ponder about life or random thoughts, or maybe just an idle time at home while reading a book, yes these simple things can make me VERY happy and I'm sure a lot can relate, but don't get me wrong as much as I enjoy my quiet time, I also crave for jaw-dropping and heart-pounding adventures. People have different preferences about the things that can make them feel good, let's just say I enjoy and appreciate EVERYTHING and that's one of the things I'm really thankful of.

Last August 5 I collaborated with Oneechan's Wardrobe Collection , an online fashion store owned by a friend of mine together with a business partner, I'm so stoked that they chose me to promote their first collection. Personally, I have a lot of admiration for young entrepreneurs like my friend, that's why when she asked me to do this I didn't even think twice. I believe it takes a lot of courage and confidence to start your own biz, that's why whenever I see young people starting up their own I always feel inspired and motivated. Most of the shoot took place at home but since I have a coffee date with my other friend I thought it'll be great for them to meet and to take some of the photos at the cafe, talk about multitasking haha.

I just love my little hometown, of all the places I've been I still find it the most interesting, truly, there's no place like home (You'll know more about it on my next blog). We decided to try this newly opened cafe called Music Wizard Coffee and Tea Shop , a new venture of the Music Wizard School , one of the famous music schools here in our town.

When we arrived I already noticed the modern but homey design of the structure.
At first glance you'll mistake it as a residential building until you see the cafe signs :)

There's my date! not kuya guard haha but that beautiful girl sitting behind the glass :)

Constant to my first impression, the interiors also had that modern and cozy ambiance, loved the lighting!
The photo collage on the wall definitely won my heart :)

Now we put the spotlight on the coffee.

And the food.

And the food again.

And the frappes.

Just kidding, to give you an idea, here's a list of what we ordered plus the prices:
1 Hot Caramel Macchiato for Julie - P75
1 Choco Truffles Frappe for Louise - P105
1 Strawberry Smoothie for Kristelle - P95
1 Iced Caramel Macchiato for Kesh - P95
1 Nachos for sharing - P125
1 Carbonara for sharing - P105
Now we head on to fashion :)

In this photo, I'm wearing Oneechan's Maroon dress with butterfly sleeves. In case you're wondering, "Oneechan" means older sister in Japanese, my friend and her biz partner/friend are both enthusiasts of Japanese culture hence the name of the store. I find the name so fitting, it's like the store is our older sister when it comes to fashion and older sisters never let us down :)

Don't you just love the simplicity and elegance of this dress oneechans? :)

The cafe has a second floor which is a good thing because this place gets filled up real quick :)

Drooling over this mini nook next to the big glass window, great view of the highway :)
Oops! we photobombed our shots haha

I must say the whole Kaga Kouku Collection of Oneechan definitely captured my personal taste :)

But there's one particular piece I'm very fond of obviously haha

I just love the smart and sophisticated style of this dress.

From the unique cut of sleeves, the vertical lines, all the details at the right places :)

I'd totally wear this at work :)

And on a date after work maybe? What do you think ladies? :)

Let's tone it down to a more casual look, with this pretty pink floral dress :)

What I love about this dress is the neckline, it gives the illusion of narrow shoulders since I have broad ones.
This dress can also be matched with a pair of comfy summer wedges :)

Another interesting piece from the collection, this mid-length peach skirt :) (the top's mine)

This skirt gives the illusion of smaller hips because of the vertical stripes and micro pleats.

My second favorite among the collection, this midnight blue dress with pink rose details. Perfect for that sweet and romantic look.

The dress can also be worn off-shoulders if you prefer a more edgy look :)

So that's it for this blog, I hope you loved it, for more sleek and sophisticated style visit Oneechan's FB page and online store here . All of their pieces come with very affordable prices. Heard they are about to release their second collection so don't miss it, all are on limited stock.
Happy shopping Oneechans! :)
